As mentioned in my blog entry yesterday I planned to visit the local swimming market in the Mekong delta. In the homestay four more people arrived 2 girls from Belgium and a couple from France.
So we all started on the same boat trip in the morning at 5 am. It was
still dark when we stepped into the boat but is was magic when the
light came up on the Mekong
river. The we arrived through channels on the market where the boats
show on a long bamboo stick what they have to offer. It is quite a
pleasant view. On the way back e have been rowed through a small
channel by hand and were picked up on the other side.
The remaining day I spend with another cycling tour over the island before catching the bus back to Saigon.
