Since
I have won a day unplanned due to the fact that I was so fast in Ben
Tre yesterday I could include a stop over in Vinh Long. I had no plan
when I boarded the bus this morning and was dropped off at the bus
station in Vinh Long but I thought it would be a good idea to go to the
city centre and the harbour and that is what I did, so I took a
motorbike taxi there. I had no clue how to organize the home stay but a
lady on the street asked me for a homestay for 12 USD including
dinner, breakfast and free bicycle usage, which was fair so I crossed
over to one of the Mekong
islands and then a Motorbike brought me to the homestay. Tomorrow I
have also the chance to go by boat to the floating markets – so
everything set without a plan. Just typing this in a hammock on the
terrace – pretty relaxing
And the surprise came in the evening when this fish was served.
Tomorrow it will be an early morning start at 5 am to visit the morning market
