Today I started early in the morning to go on a package tour to Halong Bay. The tour size was quite okay we were 12 people in total for a whole boat.
After
a 4 hour bus ride we arrive at Halong Dock where we boarded our boat.
Last week over 100 boats have been destroyed by the Taifun passing from
the Philippines over Vietnam.
But now everything was fine and the water calm, though the wetter was a
bit misty. There are over 3000 islands which are believed to come from
a submerged dragon.
Anyhow, a very fascinating area which is even more mystic in foggy times. A visit to the viewpoint over Halong Bay, a visit to a cave and kayaking in the bay is a must as well as the cruise next morning at sunrise.
Very relaxed…. This time with girls from Prague…
