I decided to leave the tourist Mecca
in Hoi An and go to some place off side the main tourist track – one
of this places is Quy Nhon. It is a 6 hours bus ride from Hoi An to the
South and I was picked up from the hotel at 6 am so it was quite an
early start. The trip was fine and when I arrived I jumped on a
motorbike taxi and went to the hotel I had selected – here a double room
costs 150.000 Dong equal to 7 USD – a different world – shower and
toilet in the room and AC as well.
The
check in was quite funny, since nobody spoke English, but thanks to
Google – translate – the young guy typed in the Vietnamese phrase and I
could read it in English and vice versa. A funny game, but it worked
and I got a room, that is the only thing what matters.
The
day I spend on the beach reading and wandering around – it is perfect
there was nobody on the beach right in front of the town, no tourist at
all – in the evening the locals came for a swim. It was a perfectly
unexciting atmosphere which is here to be found – just the right thing
after Ho An.
In
the evening I have tried the local seafood specialities I had crab and
squid perfectly fresh caught right from the sea in front of me.
In
the evening I changed my plans for the next days again completely –
getting to like this approach. I had planned to go by bus in the
morning to Na Threng about 4 hours to the south and then hire a
motorcycle there and go to Dalat on the next day. Now the plan is
different – I will actually go maybe next morning to Na Threng, since
the bus is full, but somebody will try to get a free seat fro me next
morning and at 6:00 am I will know if it had worked out or not. I
should arrive there at around 10:30 am and then I will be picked up by
an easy rider and have a two day tour ending up in Dalat. That is the
plan – so let`s see what will materialize tomorrow.
Anyhow, everything changes every day so I do not worry at all.
Therefore probably no Blog entry tomorrow night – will be off limits

This is the right plan: Just live the moment and enjoy it. :-)
